South Shore Early Education, a South Shore Community Action Council program - a private non-profit providing multi-level program support on the South Shore, Wareham, Cape Cod, and the Islands, seeks a full-time Teacher Preschool EEC candidate, 37.50 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Scheduled hours 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. No nights or weekends, salary commensurate with degree and experience, excellent employee benefits package, paid employee lunch break, in-service training.
POSITION: 37.50 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and implement daily lesson & curriculum plans using creative curriculum. Assist Co-Teacher in creating and maintaining a safe and healthy physical environment that fosters students' physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Perform teaching activities that align with the EEC and Head Start Performance Standards regulations. Meal assistance, Bus Monitoring, and other various activities as assigned.
Core Qualifications:
Commonwealth of Massachusetts EEC certification is required. Bachelor’s degree in early childhood preferred, minimum of associate degree in early childhood required, CDA considered. Must be able to speak and understand English.
Minimum Requirements at employment:
· All candidates must undergo a CORI, DCF, SORI, and fingerprint background check; before beginning employment.

· Valid MA state driver’s license.
· Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
