Together, We Make A Difference!
The power and the promise of community action lies in the impact we make in the lives of the most vulnerable among us.
For nearly 60 years, South Shore Community Action Council has helped low-income people of all ages with food, housing, utilities, transportation, early education, job training, and more. In times of crisis, we are a critical safety net for families struggling to get by.
As a result of the pandemic and now the high costs for household basics, more and more people are reaching out to us for assistance with food, diapers, housing, utilities, and other necessities. If you would like to see your contribution reach those in your community who need it most, make a donation online today.
It's safe, it's easy and it's secure.
Unrestricted donations give us the ability to fund programs that are in need of support.
Support our efforts to end hunger and promote nutrition on the South Shore.
Help us keep people in their homes and catch up on mortgage, rent or utility bills.
Door-to-door transportation for the elderly and individuals with disabilities in handicap accessible vans.
If you would like to make a donation using a check or money order,
