South Shore Community Action Council, Inc.– is seeking a part-time, permanent Maintenance and Facilities Technician at our South Shore Early Education Plymouth location-10-15 hours per week; 52 wks. per year. Base rate $22.03/hr. No nights or weekends, salary commensurate with education, experience, licenses, or certification.
Performs routine building maintenance, minor building and plumbing repairs and light custodial work. Provide hands-on minor repair services as needed including, but not limited to painting, patching holes, bolting furniture, shelving, keeping playgrounds free of debris and safety concerns, changing light bulbs and fixtures, light plumbing, as needed.
High school diploma or HISET/GED equivalent. Statement of no record – CORI, DCF, SORI and FINGERPRINT-during the hiring process. Must have a driver license in good standing. Must be at least 18 years of age to apply. Bi-lingual in Arabic or Portuguese, Spanish preferred, although not required.

· Valid MA state driver’s license; DCF background check
· References will be required upon hire
· Must be able to speak and understand English.
