South Shore Early Education, a South Shore Community Action Council program - a private non-profit providing multi-level program support on the South Shore, Wareham, Cape Cod, and the Islands, is seeking a full-time Infant Toddler/Early Head Start Pregnant-Mom Home Visitor in Marshfield.
35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

POSITION: 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Core Responsibilities:

The home visitor role is a resource for parents and a facilitator for learning. For prenatal to three years of age. Must have knowledge and experience in early child development and education specific to Infants and Toddlers. Excellent ability to communicate and motivate families. Knowledge of all community resources & referrals to outside agencies. Willing to engage clientele within the program. Able to travel on home visits. Business trip mileage reimbursement is available only for business miles at the IRS mileage reimbursement rate. Previous home visit experience preferred.

Core Qualifications:

Massachusetts EEC IT Teacher Certification required. Associate's Degree or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred, CDA required in place of a degree. Bi-lingual (Portuguese, Arabic, Spanish, or Haitian Creole) is helpful although not required. Must be able to speak and understand English.
_Minimum Requirements at employment: _
·      All candidates must undergo a CORI, DCF, SORI, and fingerprint background check; prior to beginning employment.

·      Valid MA state driver’s license.
·      Must be able to speak and understand English.
·      Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
