School children throughout Plymouth County are eligible to receive free or reduced-price meals.
For many of these children, school meals may be the only meal they eat all day. What happens when they go home over the weekend?
Since 2014, SSCAC’s Food Resources Program’s Food Distribution Center has been helping school children get the nutritious and easy-to-prepare food they need to get enough to eat on the weekends. Bags of food are assembled by a team of dedicated volunteers on Wednesday, and then distributed to children at the end of the week. With your help, we can provide more food to more children in need.
