Immediate Opening – Cook Manager
Cape Program
Position37.50 hrs./52 wks.

Core Responsibilities:
Responsible for ordering, preparing, disbursing and serving meals at multi location facility (in accordance with EEC/USDA guidelines). Candidate must be Food Serve Trained (MSFA certified). Responsible for inventory and preparing meals for children with medical & allergic needs.

Core Qualifications:
BA/BS AA/AS Culinary degree preferred; previous large meal service required; inventory; ability to work with varying groups of children and adults; USDA background, Familiarity with local Board of Health Regulations
At least two years’ experience in preschool or similar work environment.
All Head Start candidates must have a current medical certificate, MMR Documentation, statements of CORI/Background check, and employment application (available on SSCAC website) prior to beginning employment. Positions are open until a suitable candidate is found. In house candidates must apply.
